Portrait-in-progress of a dance troupe from Memphis composed of young adults with Down Syndrome. Funny, touching insights from parents and dancers as we watch the company rehearse and perform. They ultimately find a way to realize their dream, of performing on Broadway(or nearby). We also see them in a class with Liza Minelli. Television or theatrical exposure for the documentary should:o raise global awareness of the challenges and potential in all special needs populations,o highlight the needs for continued public and private support of such groups, and the benefits of that support o in particular, promote the work of these determined young adults from Memphis, o catalyze the formation of similar arts groups worldwide, o inspire all who see this touching, funny movie - whether 'typical' or 'special' - to personally express themselves more fully and test their own limits.
